Mr. Khalpey has been the Chief Executive Officer of Frontier Operations at EFG Hermes Holding S.A.E. since January 04, 2017. He served as the Global Head of Equities and Partner at Exotix Limited. Prior to this. He served as the Head of Equities for Africa at Renaissance Capital in mid-2011. While at Renaissance Capital, he managed a team of over 50 members across sales, trading and research with a particular focus on its specialist Africa sales team. He joined Renaissance Capital as the Global Head of Africa Sales in 2010. In 2002, he joined Investec Securities to rebuild its equity distribution platform. In 2004, Mr. Khalpey established Investec Securities’ platform for North America. He began his career through the Graduate Training Program at Mercury Asset Management in 1996. Mr. Khalpey has 17 years of experience in financial services, including equity sales and asset management. He holds a B.A. in Economics from London School of Economics.

Mr. Shahid is an Associate Member of Institute of Cost and Management Accountant of Pakistan and also Fellow Member of Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants. He has diverse experience of more than 12 years in the area of Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Audit, Secretarial Practices, and Accounts & Finance etc. Before joining EFG Hermes Pakistan he had been associated with corporate brokerage firms, Shajar Capital Pakistan for 5 years and with JS Global Capital Limited for 6 years.
